Materials you will need:
- Prints you would like to “age”

- Mod Podge

- small amount of medium sand paper

- tin of brown shoe polish

- clean, soft cloth

This is a good way to get that antique style without spending a lot of money.

Choose a print that you think will look good “aged”.
It’s a good idea to do a practice print first, so you can see the outcome.

1. Pour Mod Podge in center of print. Spread a thick coat with a sponge brush. Let dry and apply another thick coat. It will dry clear.

2. With medium sand paper, lightly scratch only a few areas of the surface of the print. Do this only deep enough so that you are actually only scratching the dried Mod Podge. Make some scratches running horizontally and vertically.

3. With soft, clean rag, apply a light coating of brown shoe polish.
This will give the “aged” color. Rub off any excess.

Place in frame.
